Job Summary:
IDS is searching for a Sales Executive reporting to the VP Global Sales, Steve Pittman. The Sales Executive will drive new business through consultative selling into new accounts in the Americas. The Sales Executive will be fully accountable for overall customer revenue and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively sell enterprise applications and related products, services and solutions on a consultative basis
- Generate new sales leads through consistent prospecting and industry activities
- Successfully lead the sales process and pre-sales resources from point of customer contact to “go live date”
- Communicate value proposition at the executive level throughout sales cycle Forecast, monitor and achieve sales goals
- Provide market feedback to the Product Management to help shape product/services marketing and development
- Stay current with IDS’ and competitors’ products and information
- Manage quota of $2.5 million
- Develop a target list and utilize corporate resources to identify and close key opportunities
- Develop strategic relationships at the C-level customers and influencers
- Negotiate contracts
- Utilize the SalesForce.com CRM system and provide timely feedback on requested reports
- Ability to drive new revenue within 6 – 9 months of hire
- Interaction with Pre-Sales, Finance, Professional Services, Legal
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to captivate the attention of C-Level Executives
- Strong problem solving, presentation and organizational skills
- Independent, self-starter with excellent matrix management skills
- Comfortable dealing with technical and contractual issues
- Team player with leadership ability
- Fundamental understanding of Equipment Financing and Leasing Market
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- 7+ years of software sales experience
- Success in earning 200K plus within 3 consecutive years
Industry Experience:
- Strong business/sales acumen coupled with a sound understanding of Equipment Finance and Leasing Market.
- Experience selling Professional services solutions
- Experience working in a matrix environment
