Job Summary:

Evaluate and test new or modified software programs.

Technical Responsibilities

1. Able to understand the functionality of the DRD/milestone
2. Able to prepare high quality Test Case Documents
3. Able to execute regression tests in the assigned module
4. Identifying risks well in advance and communicate to PRD lead
5. Actively participate in peer reviews
6. Update existing regression test suite with new functionality
7. Prepare new regression test suites
8. Defect verification
9. Automation tool understanding such as Silk test, Win Runner, Test director
10. Good understanding of testing methodologies
11. Understanding of Defect flow

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 - 3 years related work experience preferably in Financial / Leasing applications
• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to accomplish tasks and solve problems that are somewhat complex.
• Ability to communicate with a range of audiences, from programmers to individuals with a technical background.
• Intermediate knowledge of version control and distribution issues and processes.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Some programming background needed.
• Ability to perform duties with general supervision.
• Must be able to pass criminal and credit background check
