Minneapolis, MN – International Decision Systems (IDS), the leading provider of asset finance software, announced today that John D. Emerick, Jr. will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective August 22, 2011.  

Mr. Emerick comes to the company with a wealth of finance and senior strategic experience related to the software, technology and leasing markets.  He spent the last year with NorthStar Capital Markets Services, Inc. serving as the CFO and COO of the company.  Prior to that, Mr. Emerick was the Vice President and Treasurer of Fair Isaac Corporation, with responsibility for corporate development, treasury, investor relations and financial planning and analysis.  He has over 25 years of financial leadership experience with both public and private companies, including Fair Isaac Corporation, The CIT Group, Ovation Communications and PNC Bank.
